Storage & Salvage

Not every vehicle can go straight to a repairer. Accident vehicles often need to be held while an insurer assesses them, while an investigation runs, or simply until someone decides what happens next. We hold vehicles at our Te Awamutu yard so they are off the roadside and out of the weather.

We work with insurers and with New Zealand Police, so the paperwork side is familiar. If your vehicle has been recovered to us after a crash, call and we will tell you what is needed to release it and who has to authorise it. If you are an assessor or a claims handler, we can arrange access for inspection.

For vehicles that are not going back on the road, we handle salvage from the same yard. That covers end-of-life cars, insurance write-offs and damaged fleet vehicles. Because we recover, store and clear from one site, there is no second contractor and no second cartage bill.
